WHY ARE WE GOING THERE?

At least once in your life, you need to see the desert — and even better, spend time with it from a gentle sunrise to a night sky filled with constellations.

To fall asleep in a tent where nomads have lived for centuries, and wake up ready to continue discovering a country where ancient medina labyrinths coexist with modern oceanfront promenades. Where the desert touches the Atlantic Ocean, and thousand-year-old legends echo alongside the rhythm of vibrant cities.

Ten days to feel the shifting sands of the Sahara beneath your bare feet, touch the cool marble and pink walls of ancient fortresses, bargain for freshly baked clay plates, and sip mint tea after a hammam ritual.

And of course — all of this in the comfort of a girls-only group, where everything is welcome:
photos on jeeps,
champagne by the Atlantic,
laughter,
inside jokes,
and even tears of happiness in the blue city.

TRAVEL PROGRAM

Day 1 (September 6)

We arrive in the city of heat and spices — Marrakech — and instantly step into another reality.

The sun-soaked, buzzing capital could easily feel overwhelming at first, but our airport transfer sweeps us away to a riad — a traditional Moroccan house with an inner courtyard, fountain, and rooftop terrace. Centuries ago, wealthy merchants and traders spent their long, hot afternoons here.

The dried salmon-pink clay of Marrakech’s buildings delights the eye as we wander through the city toward today’s main point of introduction — Jemaa el-Fnaa Square.

The moment you step in, the air feels denser: the scent of grilled meat and orange peel drifts through smoke from the grills, cups and plates clink somewhere nearby, and someone calls out, “Bonjour madame.”

The world swirls around you, and suddenly you are standing right at its center.

And over dinner after a full and vibrant day, we’ll get to know one another better — because it’s fascinating to discover what brought each of us to this beautifully wild country.

Day 2 (September 7)

Excited to explore the city, we meet our guide in the morning.

Our first stop is the ruins of El Badi Palace: you touch fragments of polished marble — cool and smooth — still carrying memories of royal luxury.

After admiring the colors and intricate mosaics of Bahia Palace, built for one of the vizier’s 24 wives, we dive into the medina — a labyrinth of narrow streets filled with artisan workshops.

You begin to understand why Yves Saint Laurent once bought a villa here…

In the Jewish quarter of Mellah, the air smells of almonds and candles.

A few bags of spices will definitely travel home with you (along with a couple of Moroccan clay plates after an afternoon of shopping).

An evening hammam visit quickly feels less like an option and more like a ritual — in Morocco, it’s simply the best way to recover from the sensory overload of the day.

We end this long day wrapped in the aromas of essential massage oils and drift into deep sleep.

Day 3 (September 8)

Breakfast and coffee in the riad are spent watching the city slowly wake up before we set off through the Atlas Mountains.

Snow-capped peaks, winding mountain roads, red cliffs, and tiny villages unfold outside the window.

Your camera catches glimpses of the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs — endless Berber fortresses built from clay, straw, and wood.

A quiet voice inside whispers:
“You are exactly where you’re meant to be.”

By evening we arrive in Aït Benhaddou, one of the most beautiful Berber settlements in the country.

Among clay towers and narrow passageways, it feels like stepping onto a film set: scenes from Gladiator, Prince of Persia, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones were filmed right here.

Tonight we stay in an ancient kasbah — a clay fortress transformed into a comfortable hotel.

Day 4 (September 9)

Sahara.

The word itself sounds like a promise of the greatest adventure.

Today we travel toward the world’s largest hot desert — a place of extreme beauty where summer sand temperatures can reach +45–50°C.

The road will take most of the day, but this is one of those journeys where the drive itself becomes part of the magic.

We travel comfortably in a private air-conditioned transfer while Martian landscapes drift by outside the windows.

There’s time for important things:
choosing outfits for tomorrow’s photoshoot,
saving pose references on Pinterest,
listening to Moroccan radio,
or simply sitting quietly with your own thoughts.

By evening we arrive in Merzouga — the gateway town where civilization meets the sands.

This is where the asphalt ends and the magic begins.

We hop into jeeps and head deep into the Erg Chebbi dunes toward our desert camp.

Tonight awaits:
comfortable tents (yes, with soft beds),
fragrant tagine,
dancing under live Berber music,
and a sky holding more stars than grains of sand beneath your feet.

Tonight, you fall asleep in the heart of the desert.

Day 5 (September 10)

At Girls Only Travel, we believe that everyone should witness a Sahara sunrise at least once in their lifetime.

You stand barefoot on sand cooled by the night, feeling the morning sun slowly warm the endless desert around you.

As the Sahara awakens, we ride quad bikes toward the highest dunes.

This is where we’ll create a thousand unforgettable photos — so don’t forget outfits that match the golden sands and your favorite camera.

By the way, film photography looks especially magical here.

The desert removes fear and fills you with energy.

Soon you’re ready to try sandboarding, wander endlessly through tiny Berber villages, and learn how nomads prepare tea and live in harmony with the sands.

With this new understanding, a second night in the tents — dinner around the fire included — feels filled with universal wisdom and complete peace.

Day 6 (September 11)

After breakfast at the camp, we say goodbye to the Sahara.

Ahead lies a long but incredibly beautiful journey north.

The landscapes shift rapidly:
suddenly we enter Morocco’s “little Alps.”

The cedar forests here are so dense it’s hard to believe that just this morning we were surrounded by dunes.

Berber macaques watch us closely as we pass by.

By evening we arrive in Fez, bathed in soft golden light.

A riad with a terrace and mint tea melts away the fatigue of the road.

Warm conversations during an evening stroll through quiet alleyways prepare us for sleep in the oldest of Morocco’s four imperial cities.

And in a new place, as you know, the most interesting dreams often come.

Day 7 (September 12)

Fez holds so many wonders that it deserves an entire day of exploration.

First, we visit Al Quaraouiyine — the oldest continuously operating university in the world, still carrying the atmosphere of great thinkers and scholars.

Then we explore Fez’s ceramic workshops, where suddenly you feel an irresistible urge to bring home at least one more plate (or three).

After a traditional sweet-and-savory Moroccan pie for lunch, we head into the medina of Fes el-Bali.

It’s said to be the largest car-free urban area in the world:
within its maze of 9,000 streets coexist craftsmen, cafés, and countless spice shops.

We’ll also visit the legendary Chouara Tanneries, where leather has been dyed using natural pigments for centuries.

And in the evening, after kilometers of medina streets and endless colors, there’s only one perfect ending:
our favorite hammam with black soap, scrubs, and whispered jokes.

Day 8 (September 13)

A new day — a new adventure.

And suddenly you find yourself in Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue City” that has appeared so many times in your dreams of Morocco.

In reality, it’s even more magical:
the endless shades of blue truly take your breath away.

With gratitude to the Jewish communities who arrived here in the 15th century and painted the walls indigo, we climb toward the white mosque on the hill.

Olive trees stretch along the paths beneath the sun, the air is filled with the scent of herbs, and the panoramic city view practically demands more photos and videos.

You realize it may finally be time to delete a thousand desert pictures from your phone — because this deserves space too.

In the afternoon, we wander through the city together.

Everyone’s eyes seem a little bluer here (and maybe slightly watery too — from happiness).

We stay overnight in Chefchaouen.

Day 9 (September 14)

Chefchaouen wakes up gently:
small shop doors creak open,
the scent of fresh pastries fills the air,
rugs dry under the morning sun.

You catch yourself thinking that you’d happily stay here a few more days.

But after breakfast, we continue onward — Casablanca is already waiting for us.

In the Ain Diab district along the Corniche, the Atlantic Ocean stretches endlessly before us:
waves crash dramatically against the rocks,
palm trees sway in the wind,
and surfers play confidently with the sea.

Next, we visit one of Morocco’s most breathtaking architectural masterpieces:
the Hassan II Mosque, rising almost directly from the water.

The closer you get, the more mesmerizing it becomes:
the enormous minaret,
delicate marble carvings,
ornamental mosaics,
and turquoise details.

Modern, oceanfront Casablanca welcomes us for the night in yet another atmospheric hotel.

Day 10 (September 15)

Someone from the group recalls the cinematic classic Casablanca (1942) — the film that gave the world the iconic line:

“Here’s looking at you, kid.”

A phrase forever associated with nostalgia, romance, and the magic of another era.

This morning arrives a little unexpectedly:
you suddenly realize that ten days are already behind us —
intense,
warm,
wildly different,
yet somehow perfectly harmonious.

Time to go home.

We hug, laugh, share favorite photos with one another, and after breakfast hop into the airport transfer.

One last goodbye wave to the ocean from the window —
and onward toward dreams of the next journey together.

A journey toward your freer self — through the Sahara, nights in desert tents beneath endless stars, the Atlas Mountains and ancient palaces, the narrow alleyways of the medina and the open coastline of Casablanca — ten unforgettable days together in Morocco.

The dream of spending a night in the Sahara becomes your once-in-a-lifetime experience.
A traditional Moroccan hammam becomes a reminder of what true care for the female body feels like.
And nights spent in riads feel like stepping into a fantasy of sultans, hidden chambers, and secret passageways tucked inside ancient walls.

    1
    Payment Methods

You can pay online with a credit card or via international bank transfer. You can also split the payment into installments to make planning your trip easier.

    2
    Visa and documents

Visa requirements depend on your passport and the country we’re traveling to, so we recommend checking the official rules before booking.
Once you join, we’ll guide you through the practical side: what documents you need, what to double-check before departure, and what to prepare in advance so nothing turns into last-minute chaos.
We keep it simple, clear, and human. Because travel prep is exciting enough without turning it into a bureaucratic side quest.

    3
    Group size

Our groups are kept intimate enough for the trip to feel warm, easy, and personal, not like you’re being moved around with a flag and a headset.
The exact group size depends on the destination and format of the trip, but we always design the experience so everyone has enough space, attention, and comfort. Small enough to connect, big enough to make the energy feel alive.
If a trip has a specific group size limit, you’ll see it in the trip details.

    4
    Changes and Cancellations

We know life doesn’t always go to plan, so if something changes, message us as soon as possible.
The options for changes or cancellation depend on the trip, timing, and bookings already made. Some services are paid in advance and may be non-refundable, but we always explain everything clearly and help you find the best possible solution.
No confusing fine print energy. Just honest communication and support.

    5
    Can I go by myself?

Absolutely. Many girls join our trips on their own, and that’s one of the most beautiful parts of it.
You don’t need to bring a friend to feel comfortable here. From the moment the trip begins, you’re surrounded by women who came for the same reason as you: to see the world, breathe out, and share the experience with people who just get it.
You’ll have space to be social, space to recharge, and usually at least one new friend by the end of the trip. Sometimes more. Humans do occasionally manage something lovely.
